Wikipedia picture of the day on September 9, 2018: Purana tigrina is a species of cicada in the genus Purana found in Southeast Asia. This is a newly emerged female. After moulting, they will find a suitable place and hang vertically. Their wings need to be inflated with fluid and their skin will harden prior to making the maiden flight.
