Is software becoming worse as we continue into the future?

Seems like simple things like obvious settings choices and other such stuff that was once common in software, no matter for what device, was better implemented and less buggy just a decade ago. Everything has bugs of course, but it seems as if more bugs are occurring and less settings options. Is stability and usability being sacrificed for looks or features as time goes on?
